A Key Ingredient for Success

So many people claim to possess the secret ingredient for success in music. Just read this book, watch this video, buy this piece of gear...blah blah blah.

Don't fall for it.

The only way to make true strides in your musical development is to put in the time and effort that it takes.

Knowledge is only half the battle. You can study with the best teacher in the world and still make little or no progress. True growth begins when you actually DO THE WORK.

Read books. Watch video lessons. Take lessons with a great teacher. Buy nice gear.

But don't expect those things to make you a successful musician. It always has and it always will take smart, consistent, creative practice to become a great musician.

Stop talking. Start doing.
